wordy wednesday: a taste of your own medicine

Today’s idiom: a taste of your own medicine

Meaning: giving someone the same treatment they gave you

Origin: Both sources were word for word the same.  They both said that this comes from an Æesop’s Fable about a man who sells fake medicine and when he gets sick, and people try to give him his own medicine, which he knows won’t cure him.
