Whew. I’m done. I can’t believe it’s finished and I’m so happy that it is. And now I have a handy dandy photo calendar (even for the leap years). It was challenging and exhausting and I certainly didn’t love every minute of it, but I’m so glad I did it. Yay, 2012.
Whew. Last month. Here are the rest:
A nod to the first picture of the year. I do love this guy so much. We’ve had a great year and I’m so excited to see what 2013 brings.
Melissa’s getting married!! :)
And here’s a sneak peek of next year’s Christmas gift. Yup, starting really early.
Unfortunately this day off was not planned. It seems I have not escaped getting the “holiday bug.” Third year in a row, yay.
Such a nice, lazy day off.
We passed through storms and clear skies. It was a long journey, but so worth it.
I love this candid shot of a quiet Christmas morning, enjoying our gifts and preparing for the party tonight.
Blocking the completed scarf for my co-worker. I’m quite happy with the end result.
My uncle passed away last year. There something about seeing that he never flipped it to September that makes my heart ache. He will be missed this Christmas.
We celebrated Christmas today with Jason’s family. We had a great time and ate way too much.
Walking to meet Jason for our weekly lunch. Beautiful day.
I can’t believe Christmas is only 5 days away!
And the work Christmas potluck/gift exchange. I love my job.
See? And my favorite part is that this is actually a branch.
I really do love this time of year and all the Christmas trees and beautiful decorations.
A co-worker is retiring at the end of the month. I decided to make her a fancy scarf. It’s actually been relatively easy and super fun.
Another year of the White Elephant Gift Exchange at our third annual Life Group Christmas Party. I love these people so much.
Freezing day, but so gorgeous.
It seems really appropriate that today is the first day of frost this season. Yes, I’m being vague.
Another shot taken from my superior’s cubicle. Love this simple nativity scene.
And with that I’m officially done with Christmas presents. I never did share the cost for these coasters.
tile: $.17 each
photo paper: had on hand (for the photo books)
corner protectors (which you can’t see but are cute little cork stickers): $.03 each
mod podge: had on hand
finishing spray paint: $11.83 (for whole can, not even half was used)
Gotta love a good ol’ Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
Spending the weekend with Jason’s family, staying in his old room. This used to say “J + K” but the kids played with the tacks so only the “J” is there. Barely.
On my way to lunch with Jason. :)
I kinda think this looks like it’s floating. Anyway, I love having lots of co-workers who are willing to bring and share their homemade baked goods. Mmmm.
Our Christmas picture. I have one for each of the cats too; I figured trying to take this with two wiggly kitties would be a little too challenging.
I need to turn these lights on more, they really add a lot to the room. Plus, Vash totally freaked when I first plugged them in. It was really cute.
